When I start my car in the morning, after I first put it into gear (any gear), it almost, but not quite stalls. Sometimes it will even backfire? (not really, but that is the only way I can think to describe it--loading up the intake). I don't have the TH fix, and this engine only has 2500 miles on it. It ran really good, but lately I have become concerned. The gas milage has dropped from 28mpg to about 22mpg or less. After it runs for 5 minuts or so.... It is fine. Does anyone care to throw in a bench diagnostic from my description? I am clueless.

TIA

***edit*** And there are NO cels, so I can't pull a code. (I tried)

IAC Valve.

Mine does the same thing. Just picked up the valve, only 94 bucks CDN from the dealer. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to pull the intake manifold off to replace it. ACK!

I hope that is all it is. It is very insidious.

Check vacuum hoses after the MAF Adapter, could be loose, which causes loopey idling. . .
