So, I just got back from Sportbike Rally 2003 today. The rally was great, tons of sportbikes and lots of stunts. Not to mention lots of roads to ride on and OPP writing tickets.

Anyway, I was riding with my group on Route 141 yesterday. One of the sections consists of a few tight corners and sweepers. That section goes like this - two almost 90deg right corner, one 150deg left sweeper, one almost 90deg right corner, and it goes uphill. Anyway, as I came out of the second right corner almost in a full lean and my knee almost dragging, this motherfocker in a conversion van decided to pull out of the driveway from this cottage complex. I stood the bike up straight and braked to chop off speed so I wouldn't have to hit the van in full lean. Too bad I couldn't get back into the lean before the front wheel caught some gravel and goes on its side. I rolled once and slided some before I came to a stop, and the bike ended up in the ditch right next to the driveway to the complex. I stood up and flipped the bird at the van and yelled "FARK YOU!" really loud. I wanted to run over to pull the fag out of the van and beat the living [censored] out of him but that [censored] drove away like nothing had happened.

Anyway, the left side of my bike is trashed. The front lower crowl is cracked, and the bracket is bent. I got a sore shoulder and a sore hip. But at least we got the bike out of the ditch and finished the day's ride before riding home today. I'm going to have to find a place to paint the plastic once I find replacement parts.

that sucks. good that you're not hurt too bad. I know that it sucks anytime your bike goes down. A friend of mine was eating at hooter's and his bike got backed over the other day and the people ran. His dad fixed the bike for him, he just has to buy a new part to replace the clutch handle, he has one small scratch on the side, and the muffler is barely bent. He said the bike rides fine though, I'm not sure how his dad was able to fix it so good. Looks like your bike is gonna need a good bit of work though. I guess that's why insurance on bikes is usually pretty high. Hope you get it fixed soon.

Why not go back and beat their ass or inflict similar damage on their car? You do most probably know where they live. They could have at least stopped to see if you were ok or needed help.

Why would he know where they live? They could have just been in the area and that area may not have been the same area airknight lives in.

It's a cottage complex or something like that, people probably only go there for vacation. We asked the people there that came to help me out, and they didn't even know who was in the van that cause all this mumbo jumbo.
