when i first start up the old tour and let it warm up a bit and take off i can redline the engine with no problems, but after driving it a bit, it starts to stutter at about 5000 or so.... sometime 4000 sometimes 6000, anyone help me? Is it just because the engines getting warmer and the computer wont let more gas through or what?

any help is appreciated as always

Sounds like bad wires or plugs. Heat tends to send them over the edge.
