Alright, my car started ticking from the passenger side by the firewall. Sounds like a lifter or "Lash Adjuster". Terry even looked at it and said it sounded like a lifter wink So I bring it to the good ole ford dealer, they "Don't know what it is till we open it up". So they open it today, and everything looks normal, all 12 lifters lash adjusters and everything else looks peachy. The guy says "But we want to replace the 12 lash adjusters and see if it takes care of the noise".. I'm like "How Much" he's like "About $700" eek First is that price WAY to high to replace 12 of them (They're a $9/piece part). And what the hell do I do, because even the service guy said it may not fix the problem. To me that's a risky $700 bet I'm placing on ford's guess work.

Buy the parts and tools and do it yourself.

I would, but I'm by NO means a mechanic, nor do I really have the place to do any car work.
