OP bobSVTexas New CEG\'er B Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 18 Killeen, Texas	Has anyone tried removing the rear mufflers on a CSVT and replace them with slightly larger tips with no mufflers??? Would doing this make the car sound raspy??? Or should I just replace the front muffler with one that freely flows??

ShoShop ypipe w/ cat, 12" straight through muffler (replaced the resonator), no mufflers in the back. That'll give you an idea of what it'll sound like. deftoned989 Veteran CEG\'er D Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 681 San Diego, CA	bob, I have that exact set-up and no other exhaust mods. It sounds awesome and isn't ever raspy. Below 3k rpms it sounds like a baby v8. Very nice!! 99 Silver CSVT
