My car started making a loud noise back by the right rear tire. It is not the brakes, to me it sounds like maybe a wheel bearing?? The faster I go the louder it gets, when I turn right the sound goes away, when I turn left it gets louder. Anyone had a problem like this??

It is metal colliding sound and no matter fast or slow driving. It happens whenever the car pass a bump. Last summer I had springs in the wheel replaced, it seems got better but now it's getting louder. Anyone know what's the cause of it?

hiya bobsvt. Sounds like a bearing to me. Those are the telltale clues. You could put it on a jack and see if the wheel moves/wiggles a bit. Anycase take it in! Don't wait. I waited once and paid dearly. Christmas eve car loaded with gifts...car nearly went off the road when the bearing went. Took the shaft with it. That is expensive
