I read somewhere about a mod. It turns your fans on at a temp. you set. It's completely seperate from the ecu. All you do is put in the temp. sensor, set the temp, and plug it into your fans(basicly). I'm not sure if it was for a contour or just something I read about for compact cars in genral. It seems like this could be a big help for cars with overheating problems(like mine). Does anyone know where I can find someting like this? I can't remember where I saw it.

You should be able to find something like this at most auto parts stores.

FWIW, if you have a Zetec, they look like they run hot, but the high end of normal is actually normal.
