Someone should flow test the SHO-shop Y. It is even straighter than that. I'm just curious to see how they measure up in comparison.

BTW... NICE job... VERY professional.

Thank you! Sometimes people just don't see the obvious. That V-shaped bend is one of main reasons I didn't get in the recent group buy. I don't understand why they got so lazy on that detail when the rest of the system looks killer!

I was interested in the stock Y-pipe flow too.

Front Bank tube--------252 cfm
Rear Bank tube---------219 cfm

Wow! Pretty restrictive. I'll try and flow a modified stock Y-pipe. I expect better and more balanced flow, but not as good as the modified MSDS.

Nice job there, am really looking forward to hearing about what gains you get on the dyno, or the road!

Sorry to rehash an old thread, but this has some great information. I just sent Marty a note to have him take a look at this thread and see if he has updated the y-pipe design.

Can I still do this mod although I have a Z95 Ceramic coating? I can always send them to get jet-hot coated after to protect the weld from rust. (If jet hot can go over the ceramic that is ). If not then I wont sweat it since my car won't be 100% race anyways...
