I just wanted to ask a question about replacing my old tired battery before I install my new sound system. I was thinking about replacing the stock battery with a optima red top. The only concern was that the orginal battery only has 560 peak cranking amps while the red top has 800-900 cranking amps at any given time. Will this increase in amps have any ill effect on my cars electrical system?

Officer, I wasn't speeding. I was qualifying. 1998 Mystique Mods coming very soon.(Only had car about 9 months)

No, the amps don't come out unless something in the car asks for that much current.
