Hey guys/gals,
I'm flushing the radiator this weekend. Has anyone used Peak antifreeze? It comes "premixed"- no need to add water. What's the consensus- recommended, not recommended?

TIA

Kind of a rip-off. You pay the same price as unmixed, but get the same amount. Save your money and mix it yourself. If you want your car to run cooler try this [URL=http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=3338&prmenbr=76&lastcat=]
It works well, I use it in my 81' Cutlass, it has a chev. 350 and always ran hot. Now it runs at about 165 deg..

I also believe they mix it 50/50, which is weaker than the better 60% antifreeze/40% water blend. The 60/40 gives better heat and cold protection.

Also keep in mind when you flush the radiator, you'll have water in the lines when you're done. So the key is to put all the antifreeze you're putting in first, then enough water to fill. Therefore, you'll end up even weaker if you use pre-mixed.
