I think the b+m does it a little, and the steeda is a full short shift kit. I would either cut it or pay the extra for the steeda.

Good LORD!

I know I didn't pay more than $75 new for mine. What's the deal with the price gouging?

I didn't have the money for the steeda so I just cut mine. I hacked off a little under 2 inches and rethreaded the stick so I could still use the stock knob. Simple geometry will tell you that it cut down a little of the throw (not very much), but mainly I like it because I used to hit my stereo controls with the stock position.

Pay extra? I paid 119 shipped for the steeda with a one year warantee...

I didn't realize it was that cheap. I thought it was around $250. Oh well.

B&M is a short throw shifter.

I was under the "impression" that it was the throw that was being shortened not the shifter, correct.......

Its got to do with Geometry.
