Just got her home. Sounds awesome, feels awesome, and isn't annoying. 2.5 inch from y-pipe back into a hooker aerochamber muffler and a hooker splitter tip (2.5 into 3.0 x 2 - resonated), she's music to my ears boys and girls...

Not at first but I cleared the pcm memory before i drove it too far. Now that its relearned the air flow I've noticed a bit of loss off the line but once the rpms hit 3200 she cuts loose. I'm getting a diablo chip custom programmed to help out with the bottom end loss and make the power smoother through the rpm range.

So you have 1 hooker aerochamber where the res used to be, and 2 resonators out back? Is that correct?

After the OE flex pipe (where the main cat should be) I ran 2.5 into the aerochamber. Welded to the muffler is my tip which is resonated dual 3 inch slash cut.

So you've got 1 muffler and resonated tips? That's a pretty aggressive sound.

Give us a link to a sound file, or e-mail one to me!
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Sorry, no sound file. I don't have anything to record it with. The best way I could describe the sound is deep and rumbly at low rpms (>3300). Once the IMRC opens she lights a big fire under her butt and frenzies to the upper rpm range. Sound wise at upper rpms it sort of sounds like a Honda would if it had a V8. Deep tone, slight bit of rasp (until exhaust warms up), and the gurgle of the DOHC. I took her out on an unused service highway near an old aiport by my home town. She was still accellerating hard through 160km/h until the limiter kicked in at 180. Can't wait for the Diablo...
