ok this is my new tranny that i purchased from Robert Mumm who races a cougar in the speed worl challenge..he purchased it from mirko racing, but decided that he wasnt going to use it....so i just had to get it..lol
the tranny includes a quaife and shot peened gears with an upgraded shift tower.

here is a pic of the quaife in the tranny with the shot peened gears.


now here is the quaife alone


heres a pic of the quaife next to the stock diff.


and here is the sweet ride that will be runnin that bad boy

Got the Zetec 4.06 in there? If your going to make the jump in hp it's recommended. Explain the shot peened gears?

no,i didnt bother putting the zetec final drive because as of now the turbo kit is just a wish hoping to come true....i still have my 3L sitting in the spare room waiting to install.....plus i just dont see the need to go faster then the speedo says anyhow...no biggy..and ive gotten use to the gas mileage as is so it doesnt matter if i save a buck or two....i forget the site but it explains the shot peening of the gears....basically it makes them like 5 times stronger then stock....beats me...just sounds cool.....lol
