What they leave out is that it probably can't actually shoot a million rounds. An M16A1 can fire 700-800 rounds a minute. But can only shoot a clip (20 or 30 rounds) at a time. You also have to transport all the ammunition you fire. An M-60 machine gun has to have the barrel replaced every 500 rounds. So a million rounds a minute sounds fast (and it is) but I bet it can't shoot a hundredth of that.
