I've found the universal (cone) air filter thanks to the fellow CEG's, but I have another question. The cone filter comes in different sizes, I 'm assuming that the size depends on the MAF gasket and/or adaptor and I don't know the diameter, can anyone tell me? Thanks !!!

I looked at K&N's web site for more information and I was confused. I looked at a chart and it didn't make any sense to me. Can someone help me???

Here's the link...

If you are running a stock MAF or even a 75mm ProFlow, you will need a cone filter with a 3.5" opening....

If you run an 80mm+ MAF you need to get a filter with a 4" opening...

I know this may sound stupid but... will I need to replace my stock MAF adaptor and/or gasket? Will the cone filter fit with my stock MAF? (I know I am a nag.)

There is not a MAF adapter on the car stock. You will have to purchase one. You can get one fairly cheap from www.duratecperformance.com

Thanks !!!

I am going to get a 6" (3.5"ID)Cone Filter
http://store.duratecperformance.com/store/shop.mpl?Cat=2,12,13&Item=76

And a 75mm Mass Air Sensor Adapter Plate
http://store.duratecperformance.com/store/shop.mpl?Item=13&CouponCode=HOTITEMS

From
http://store.duratecperformance.com/

I've also noticed that there is a sensor (I am assuming it is a intake air temperature sensor (IAT)) on the air filter box. Will that need to be replaced also? Or do I just leave it alone? Thanks for the help !!!

get the k&n ru-3530...it is only $33 and some change shipped...it is used by many on here including myself...just click search by k&n part #,and type in ru-3530...i highly reccomend this filter,as do many others....i would get that maf adapter though, since it is cheaper than most...
