It would be nice to have another paid holiday. Maybe next they will approve a Gay Pride Day.

well, u r right in many aspects; however, u r missing one crucial point. The moment u start using the term "author" applicable to the Bible, the entire discussion doesn't make no sense. The assumption of a religious person is that the Bible was written by God (or revelealed if you will).
