In doing a search, I found that there need to be some modifications done to the upgraded SVT engine/tranny mount(s) when used in a '95 SE (front one only?). The only mention I could find about the mod was that some studs had to be removed and the mounting holes in the front isolator needed to me enlarged/elongated.

If someone has done this engine mount upgrade, could they let me just how involved the modifications are. I'm about to buy the frt & rear mounts and would like to know if you need a machine shop to make the mods or if the judicious use of an elecric drill is all that's required.

Thanx

Yeah thats about right. It's not hard at all. bang the bolts that come with the mount out, re-use the ones on the old one, but you have to make one of the holes on the subframe longer, here's a pic of it before you do it to get an idea. hope this helps.
Simon.

Thanx much, Simon!!

That pic is pretty much what I needed. It looks like you need to add about one bolt diameter to the C to C spacing of the holes on the frt mount. I can do that carefully in a drill press with the mount clamped securely to the work platform (pseudo mill )
