Is there anyone in the Utah county area who knows where I could go to steam clean my engine myself?

I would rather do it myself and get it done right and save $25. I just need to find a place that has a heated pressure washer.

Any suggestions?

OK.

So maybe I would be willing to go up to SLC to clean my engine.

Do you guys know of any places up there that I could clean my engine with a heated pressure hose???

The time I spent as a detailer I never had a heated pressure sprayer. All we did (and it works great, I'd do SCUMMY cars that came from the auctions, and went to the dealerships) was use a good degreaser and spray it all down very well. Let it have about 5-10 minuets to eat at the gunk and then just hose it off @ the car wash. It'll look dry and kinda crappy after all of that, so spray all the plastic and rubber down with armor-all type dressing, give it a minuet and wipe it down. Cake
