My times just plain suck. My clutch was slipping pretty bad too.

1st run
.686 r/t
2.514 60'
6.675 330'
10.234 1/8
67.95 mph
13.376 1000'
16.061 1/4
84.66 mph

the 2-3 shift was horrible slippage. I think thats what killed my mph. Second run i let the car cool for about 1.15 hr, and then went to try to get just mph.

2nd run
1.082 r/t
2.712 60'
7.132 330'
10.735 1/8
69.69 mph
13.772 1000'
16.366 1/4
87.67 mph <--- This is my fastest mph to date.

I would like to get a 89-90 mph.

my mods are y-pipe, and exhaust all the way back.

thanks joe

Start working on opening your intake. Try cleaning your upper/lower intake manifolds and putting a big K&N filter on it.

You need to work on your intake, you have opened up your exhaust but you have done nothing to allow more air to enter the engine.

Are your secondaries openning? The whole plot looks slow...I say malfunction or major intake deposits! Sorry to flame but remove the UIM/LIM, clean them, and do some more mods...or just buy the whole turbo kit, and avoid the aggrivation of not being satisfied after you've performed all your N/A mods.

I've beeen there and done that!

1st where do you live?? If your at hight altitude 6000+ ft, then those times isn't too bad. You might have a problems with your secondaries. Check and make sure they're working. Are there any CEL's yor getting?

Yeah I agree with the intake part of everyone's post. But did nobody notice his 60' times? I say work on that and your times will decrease dramatically. They say 2 tenths off your 1/4 mile time for every tenth you take off your 60' time. you bring that 2.5 down to a 2.2 where you possibly could be and you are mid 15's.

Fix your clutch and try again. Practice your skills. 2.7 60' is, umm, not good. .

I beleive he is in Coral Springs, I haven't had the chance to meet him yet, but a couple of his buddies checked my car out at the local show.

Godd luck on the VCN system...I can't stand getting bottles filled...what a pain in the ass!
