I've had my SHO Shop y-pipe for a couple of months, and have enjoyed it until now. While my car idles this vibrating noise seems to resonate from the cat's heat shield. I have checked all the bolts and they're on tight. Just wondering if anybody has experienced a similar problem? If so, how was it remedied?

Its probably a resonance sound thing. You can try and change the rubber exhaust hangers to new ones...they might dampen those frequencies. Or, like I did...add another exhaust hanger up front. If you look under the car up near where the original Y came together on the passenger side, you'll see an un-used exhaust hanger that ATX cars use. Go to a muffler shop and have them weld a hanger near there and use a new rubber donut thingie...I did and it helped a lot...

If you didn't get it welded, it will work itself loose. Get it welded!

Been there, done that.

More than likely it's SHO Shop's piece of trash cat interiors breaking up.

I've seen and heard of this happeneing to many people.

This is what I did:

~pulled off the y-pipe
~shook the cat and confirmed that the "guts" were breaking loose
~used a long handled screwdriver and broke up the rest
~poured out the "guts"
~re-installed y-pipe

Problem was solved.

Thanks guys, I will check all of the recommendations out, I hope it's not the cats coming apart. But I will consider having it welded together, or adding another mount.
