After I'm sure of my body kit finances, painting it, and exhaust (which I should be able to afford with all money I have now) I want to do some other things. I plan on gauges (calling junkyard tomorrow to see if they have a 96/97 contique with tach) with white faces, shift knob, and underbody neons. thing is, my car on the outside (other than maybe old paint) should look great, but the inside will still be lacking. Right now I have the rear seat removed. Anybody have any affordable ideas to what I could do in the rear and/or front to make it look better? I have gray interior by the way, thanks.

Ive seen the painting of the molding around the dash. I would go with neons inside the car. Maybe not wires, but light bars. Sound activated would be awsome. Actually for the wires, my friend has a malibu and he took blue wire and wrapped it around the dash as an outline. That looked cool. If your handy with a thread and needle you could make your own upholstry. They do it all the time on the home improvement shows on TLC and it's really cheap to boot!

YOu could always paint the trim inside the car black.

If you want to spend some money, forget the back seat and just put in some sweet subs and amps. 1200 watts each behind the driver/passenger seats is "sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet".

One day I'll get a nice system, but I removed two 10"s and put in an 8" because I didn't care much for it. Now I removed the 8". I can't make my own upholstery. Maybe I'll throw some neons under the seats and paint the interior in front, also maybe brushed aluminum interior piece kit from somewhere like nopi. I already have red bulbs that people think are neons. And I want to keep the green LEDs in doors cuz people think I put them in. Though maybe red or yellow would be better. I gotta do something more though. It looks like poo, especially the back. I hope I can get the carpet sorta clean, it's horrible. It's worst than any car I've ever rode in. Darn previous owners.

There's a post somewhere on here (aesthetic or pics maybe) of a guy who dyed his leather seats so they're 2 toned...I thought it looked pretty cool as he had the doors two toned as well. Looked nice and doesn't cost much to do if you have the cajones to try it. Also, if you're into the carbon fiber look you can buy sheets of the stuff off ebay and redo your dash area with carbon fiber. Here's some links also to some cool little ford and svt emblems you can put on your steering wheel or wherever.

All this stuff is relatively cheap and if done right IMO looks very nice.

Here's the link to that thead of the 2 toned interior.

Although I notice you've got a GL so that would be cloth seats right? You could sill dye them with some other kind of dye I'm sure.

Im planning on using some of the spare exterior paint that I now have to paint some of the interior trim. Figured it would be a good way to tie the exterior into the interior.

maybe put it a roll bar? Then you have a reason to pull the seat.

Yeah but you do have an excuse to pull the back seat out, and like do a lot of over stuff. Sooner or later you can take an off road tour in your off road tour!
