BEGIN RANT
I'm at work right now, and I just have to gripe about how much I hate it. I hate having dickweeds for bosses, I hate getting paid less than the people I supervise because they have college degrees, I hate dealing with [censored] parents who think the whole f*cking newspaper should be devoted to their kid. I hate this whole damn place and I hate the media and journalists. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I hate listening to all of these middle-aged moms talk about "the cutest thing their kid did today". OMG, this is the f*cking sports department, do you think I care about your damn kid??!?!?!

i work outside with little kids (sometimes 150 or more) all day, everyday. today was slow though and I cleaned the sides of the bumper boat pool (sucks though when it's hot) and then spent hours bent down, painting a metal rail. I'm just a little tired now from lack of sleep and being in the sun. I don't hate my job though I can't exactly say I enjoy it. Great thing is when I get really angry with people it's for an actual reason and then I can either argue with them, have the manager talk to them, or have a sheriff's deputy throw them out.

Ugh, reminds me of a job I had one summer in high school. I had to operate rides at this sleazy amusement park outside of Salem. I feel your pain man. I guess now I do get paid 12 bucks an hour to watch sports...maybe I don't have it too bad afterall?

you have it great. I make $5.75 to deal with stupid kids during the day, stupid teens at night, and stupid parents all the time. And one of my bosses isn't real cool. Sometimes I work 13+ hours a day. We have more than just bumper boats too, but that's where I'm almost always scheduled at so it gets VERY boring.

Don't take this the wrong way and get offended but:
Try working 13-16 hour days 7 days a week for 6 months straight in 130 degree heat while diving in and out of bunkers and putting on chem warfare gear. Living in a tent that seems to wanna blow away every other day due to intense sand storms while eating meals that were wapor sealed before you were born. I'm not really complaining just trying to make a point. Funny thing is I'm Air Force, there's guys in the Army and Marines that had and still have it a lot worse than I do and they never complain. It sucks sometimes but there's no other job in the world that would make me feel near as proud as serving my country. Or you could be a cop or fire fighter like the poor guys that had to dig through countless dead bodies after 9/11 and so on. Any time you think you have it bad just remember there's ALWAYS someone who has it worse than you do.

Hahaha. My favorite one is to be like, "One time I hit 3 home runs in a little league game." and they're like, "So?" and them I'm like, "Well, no one cares about your kid either."

minimum wage is $5.15. i work every holiday (we're open 365 days a year) but we get paid time and a half for most of them.
