19x8 seems a bit wide.

Unless you do that stupid thing where you put the wheels so they stick out farther from the car, you're going to have RUB issues.

19x8 will work. If you slam the dogshit out of the car, there are some rub issues, nothing major.

bern, those ones i got from u are 19x8'? i need a new one anway, litte ecurb rash from the mom but weve been through that one b4, and thats better than havein it fixed for 110.

yeah but how much are 19" tires though? i'd rather stick with 18" tires (215/35/18 for ex.) cause 19's would really look nice, i'd love to have them but, the tires are an issue that i would be very uncomfortable with, especially with our roads in certain areas.

I really don't think the 18" tire price is all that much less than 19" anyway Hoss. Take a look around.
I used to have a set of 19" Axis 7s and I live in a city with lots and lots of cobblestone roads that never hurt my wheels.
BTW, not many people suggest running a 215/35/18 tire around here on Contiques. They all suggest 225/40.
