try Ebay.uk. they got tens of M3 style mirrors there, averaging about 40 quids

It's not getting the mirrors that's the problem you can't get the bases to fit.
Germany was the only place I could find the bases.

Sorry about the delay.
You can get the Mondeo bases here Mondeo Mirror bases after you have the bases you can fit any mirrors to your car, M3, M5, and I believe there is a rather special BMW mirror just out on the Z4 which is available for our cars.

Hope this help.

BTW the speak perfect English if you want to call them Europe is 1 hour ahead of Scottish time BTW.

so you have to get the plates from sweden and then get mirrors from a BMW somewhere?

I always thought the company were from Germany, but yes you have to buy the bases seperate then you can put any mirrors on.
