First off, I'd like to thank Chris (Keyser) and Keith for their hard work and effort. Chris really worked his magic, and they both put a lot of time into my tuning. Street Flight is a great business, especially for us Contique folks!
I'd also like to thank Po-Jay and DDavis for hangin out!

Anyway, here's the scoop:
Baseline: 172.8 hp and 151.5 tq
All tuned up: 184.5hp and 158.7 tq
12hp & 7 ft. lbs. peak! When you look at the graphs, I've got more power throughout the entire rev range.

Here's the link to my graphs .
Dyno #30 was my baseline for the day.
Dyno #52 was my best of the day.
**Graphs are SAE corrected, no smoothing. I didn't click "force scaling" so the 5252 thingy will not apply.

For comparisons sake, I put dyno #23 (best from my March dyno) and #52 head to head.
Things that were different that are worth noting:
1) Since March, I installed a Buckshot TB, installed a ceramic coated CTA intake pipe, cleaned my UIM & LIM, port matched the UIM, and optimized my butterflies.
2) It was much hotter here in Phoenix this time around, but thank god for SAE correction.

Although dyno #23 has a few ticks more hp/tq in certain places, there simply is no comparing the two above 5700 RPM. Chris really ramped the power up, and smoothed it out, too!
The new burn has ~1.5 ft. lbs. more tq before the IMRC, and ~1.5 less tq from 3500 to 4500.

I'm very very happy. Thanks again to Keith at Street Flight, and Chris for the awesome work!. As soon as Chris figures out where Diablo is hiding the rev limiter...I'm all over that.

NIce! Much better on the air/fuel, though an SAFC or emanage would be able to make it a little smoother.
Nice gain in power just from playing with it, I bet it runs through the revs a lot smoother now too.

Congrats.

Dang Derek, that's really nice.
I'm jealous. Then again, I haven't done anything, yet...

Thanks for the replies so far.
I know there are a few limitations in my current setup, and I'm willing to accept them. They (most likely) are: catalytic converter, ?resonator?, and maybe even the quiet mufflers. I'm willing to give up a little hp for a quiet car that burns clean.

I must say, it's amazing how smooth this engine revs now... I LOVE IT!!!

Just exactly how did they tune your Contour for more horsepower? I am assuming a custom chip. If so, how did they do it and how much did it cost?

Keyser is the Diablo chip master... Basically, he tuned the A/F, added timing here and there, and tweeked accordingly. My car liked running rich-ish and it really liked timing down low. It did NOT like timing up high!
The first time around it cost me $350 (chip plus 3hrs on the dyno!!! Keith hooked me up!) and this time it cost me $180 for 2hrs on the dyno.

Very nice Derek! After all the hard work and fine tuning I'm glad to see you getting the results you've been after. Let me know when you're going to be back up in the area..I need another ride.
