is this garbage. If i got this or the BandM, how would i install it. Can any knob top this?

All cheap shifters of this ilk have one major drawback, and that's the weakness of the lower shifter cable attachment. A couple (or more) of the CEGers that have boughten cheapish shifters have been stranded in traffic when they're lower attachment broke...

If you want cheap...go to the classifieds, and contact that cougar guy who's shortening the stock shifter ($25 plus core charge), then you can use that really tasty looking cougar knob as well...

Is there anyone else who has had experience with this shifter. Id like to hear from someone who has used it.

shorten the stock one. you cut the stock shifter tower, remove the reverse lock, and you could basically put any shifter you want. and then it will only cost you the price of the shift knob!

I think most of the experienced users on here know to stay away from $40 shifters. Its a cheap price and it looks very cheap. I'd stay away from it.
