I had H&R springs for about 3 years now. In my quest for a lower look and better handling I cut a coil off each one of them 2 years ago. The results were great and still are, but the handling bugs bite me once again. I wanted to get some koni's but I heard you can get them in a coilover configuration which are acually tuned for the ground controls. I was wonderring if the groung controls are a hole lot better than the H&R's cause I would just get them or should I just stick with the springs and get the koni strut's. sorry about the long post but any help would be greatly appriciated.

i am not aware of any konis matched to gc's settings. we run them together but it isn't perfect. do u want to lower the car more? if not, the konis should suffice.

aren't the ground controls just eibach springs anyway?? theres gotta be someway you can use your H&R springs instead of the eibachs...

also there are ground controls made for konis and ground controls made for stock struts...

He's already taken a torch to the H&R's, and they come with the Eibachs anyway.........might as well use the GC kit the way it's intended to be used.

correct. the gc's springs aren't the same as the eibach prokit springs. gc had eibach make them linear springs to use.
