Here's what i gather from my archive searches that i still need to "gleen" from the group so to speak.

1. With the v6 and 120k i can expect my mounts to be pretty worn.
2. The parts have been improved over time to the best being a "poly filled SVT mount".

3.My cars shifts very smootly (like butter really) however it will buck a little if i get on or off the gas quickly when in gear. Is there a test to check the mounts to verify.

4. Is their a "how too" that someone has written for the 5 speed engine and tranny mount changes?

5. Does Haynes manual cover this? I need proper torque specs etc if i am planning on doing this myself.

Thanks in advance guys.

I changed all the mounts except the top left motor mount. I hit a pothole and broke the main bolt on the top right tranny/motor mount. Took Ford 4 yes 4 times to get the right tranny mount, i baught the rest from SPMOTORSPORTS. Besides that, the haynes manual is ok. it is very easy if you have a jack. Id also suggest buying energy sus. mount inserts. I took the new SVT mounts and filled the holes with RTV silicone to stiffen them up a bit (the guy @ NAPA laughed at me). They all work great and is fairly easy for install.
