Help!
My check engine light has been on for a while. I checked the computer, got code 332, EGR. I took off the intake manifold, cleaned out all the junk in the galley behind the throttle body and opened the clogged galley in the TB. Changed EGR valve for good measure. Put everything back together, and get same problem. Anyone have any ideas what to do next?

IIRC, the 332 code on the 95s is for the EGR not opening, but I don't have a manual in front of me so I might be way off here. Other stuff to check for an EGR problem would be cracks in the little vacuum hose going to the top of the EGR valve, the EGR solenoid valve or DPFE sensor and related hoses. If you have a 96+, ignore all this... codes are listed here for OBD-II

Scott: You got me. What is a DPFE and where is it located? Where it the EGR solenoid located? I cna't find either one in the Haynes manual.
Thanks.

Check the schematic diagram for the emissions system in your Haynes manual to see what hoses go where and what the different components are called. The EGR solenoid valve is between the firewall and the rear cylinder bank, IIRC. (Follow the little green hose from the EGR back.) The DPFE is either on the back side of upper intake manifold, or is down in the maze of tubing below the EGR valve. I'll look more closely tonight when I get home.
