Hey CEG'ers,
Just had the Bassani catback system installed on my 98 se/sport 2.5 atx. I had Midas install it for a total of $111.33 Ouch! But i am happy with it. It sounds very good, no rasp, good tone at idle, cruise, and great sounding at full throttle. No drone on highway at least that doesn't bother me. No at all loud like i thought. Good throaty sound. I will get pics and hopefully a sound clip if my buddy will help me.

do you have the silencers in or out?

when i had the silencers in, the exhaust was initially quite quiet, but got quite a bit louder after a few weeks.

i'm running without the silencers now cuz they got ugly and rusty.

Bassani is a nice system
If you have the "in tip" resonators, remove them..they are costing about 3-4 HP (1/2 the gains!). If its too loud then add a Magnaflow 4 x 22" resonator..excellent sound (deep, no drone & quieter than res in tip) but no power drain.

I think mine does have the in tip resenators cuz i look into the tips and its got baffeling with like an inch and a half inside diameter. How do you remove them. i will leave them in for now but if they start rusting fast i'll take them out and put in that magnaflow resenator(above) or leave it like that if its not to loud.
My buddy just put a Magnaglow cat-back system om his 2002 sentra spec V. Its quieter than mine but sounds nice too.
