My moonroof just decided to stay in the "open vent" position. I left it that way last night to allow for ventilation, but now it stays open. There's no motor noise, so I don't think the fix described in the FAQ section applies. Tried looking for the fuse, but there's not a fuse circuit dedicated to the moonroof. Any suggestions?

Have you tried lightly pushing down on it when hitting the switch? Maybe theres a dead spot on the motor bushings?

OWNED. just kidding. It is a problem with a lot of them. it is tempermental, i think it is an alien life form....it will be fine, just keep tryin it every once in a while. cooler weather usually has better chances of getting it to work. if u get it checked by the dealership, make sure to post the problem for the other 500 people with the same problem.

Try loosening the single screw that holds the electric motor to the assembly (philips head seen in picture below). The motor binds when this screw is torqued tightly and it's hot outside. I removed the screw completely to dab a little loc-tite on it's threads to make sure it won't vibrate out. Mine has now worked fine for 3 years.
