Used to own an SVT and now own a ranger. Haven't done any tweaks yet, but I have plans for the ultimate budget system.

Well... I hate to be cliche, but there is 'budget' and then there is 'cheap'.

Cheap: All Pyle, all the time!

Budget: Sensible head unit, couple year old Alpine V12 4x40 amp ($120) driving a pair of Eclipse Point Source speakers ($10-$50) up front and a single 10" Oz sub (free - $25) in a .8 cu ft enclosure with a free AudioControl EQL that's just a bit scratched up.

For $195 plus a head unit and accessories, you can have a pretty damn decent install.
