I've called a bunch of stores asking for one with metal blades, but no luck. So: 1. Are metal blades imperative? Or are the newer plastic ones OK 2. Are there parts manufacturers that I should look for or stay away from? 3. If plastic, is there a colour of blade I need (black v. white) etc? 4. Anyone have a part number? The newer pumps are white or cream colored (not sure which) and the older ones are black. I don't have any part numbers on hand, but Napa has the metal pumps, which is still the way I would go. The NAPA metal impeller pumps are the "DuraPro" brand pump aka DPW line. I'd post the part number, but the NAPA website blows chunks. That pump is simply a reboxed GMB pump.
