hELLO,
i did a search on this 'radiator removal' and found nothing.
im trying to pull my old ac condensor out for replacement.
the haynes manual says lift up , but on the v6 , it's only going to be going down.
so the 8mm bolt head for the condensor is no problem.
however, the 8mm? bolts (2 per bracket) that hold the radiator are corroded .. and there appears to be nuts welded behind them .. so the heads are stripped .. i dont want to use the hot wrench and melt the radiator bushing.
liquid wrench is not cutting it .. a layer of rusted metal around the bolt head has been removed .. and i tried the vise grips... it looks like i have to drill them and screw extract .. .. this really sucks ... that adds about 2 hours to the job .. it is a pain to jack the car up too..
anybody else have this problem with those 4 bolts holding the radiator up from underneath it ?
