i have a regular duratec v6 5spd and i have kkm and jet chip and custom muffler and glass pk i was wondering if i should have buckshot optimize my tb or if i should get svt tb and optimize that and what gains should i get from this thanx
realize if you get the svt TB, youll also have to get a new TB gasket, svt TB bracket, svt throttle cable, and i believe a new TB position sensor. if it were me, id get the svt TB along with the svt upper intake manifold. both work best together.

Before you decide on using a SVT throttle body I suggest looking into the cost of the other parts that you'll need to do the swap.
I agree that also including a SVT upper intake manifold will help yeild even more power.
But for someone on a budget, simply optimizing the stock TB offers some prety noticable gains for alot less money than other performance mods.

If you get the SVT UIM, dont you need the SVT LIM too?? Im still new at this, I am trying to learn this madness. Eventually I want to get an svt mtx and swap a 3L. Ofcourse i dont know [censored] yet.
