I was on my way home from droping the girlfriend off. And I decided to take the long way home, when out of nowhere a deer walks right out in front of me. Anyway I laid on the brakes, but not in time. I hit him right in the front drivers side. He smashed my head light, and bent my hood down, before flying about 5ft into the air and into the ditch.
I pulled off to the side, and got out. My skid marks were a good 20ft at least. I called the police and they came and had to shoot the deer.
Insurance is finaly coming in handy. I still have to go get an estiment. I dont think its anything to serious, but you never know. I havent tried opening the hood for fear that it wont latch again. Its all shifted up close to the window wipers.
Oh, and my air bags didnt even go off. Could this be a possible law suite.

Glad to hear your ok, man. I don't know if I ever mentioned it to you at a meet, but the day that I met Chris and Nick I was heading over to CompUSA and almost nailed a huge buck, but missed by less than two feet. I nearly put a brown spot in the driver's seat. Now we have matching cars, except it sounds like your damage is a little worse than mine

not hard enough hit to set them off that barely any damage besides the sensors are behind the grill you'd need a hard hit to set them off , and you dont want them going off!

pretty sure the bags are only supposed to go off on a head-on collission. something offset like a deer wouldn't trigger them.
however. pls get your car fixed quick mang. good your ok otherwise
