OP rockSVT_dup1 CEG\'er R Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 257 Jacksonville,NC	Well there were some posts earlier about people having busy weekends( congrats on the marriage ), well I had a pretty busy day!! I spent all day at the Troy MEPS(getting processed for the NAVY!!! ) Got there at 5am, woke up at 3 and didn't get out of the offices till 4:00 . Doing everything from physicals to signing hundreds of different forms! After picking my job description(operations specialist), I got my ship-out date!!--February 17,2004!!! Don't worry, it'll come quicker than I expect. I just had to tell you guys. HOO-YAH p.s. don't worry I asked, I'll be able to keep the tour. The car payments will come out of my monthly pay 99' Contour SVT Amazon Green #299 of 2,670 "Maggie" Many mods on the future "to-do" list marines puttin me on hold.....go figure

Ranger training is 4 months in 4 different climates and settings. Seal training is...water...water...and more water. If that ain't your gig..you're in for a world of diappoinment!

Even though rangers train 4 months in 4 different climates, the training in BUD/s(SEAL basic training) prepares you for ANYTHING. AND it's 6 months long. Even more, when you graduate that, you still have a year more of intense specific training before you even get to a team!! What makes it even better, that water is FREEZING!! About 55 to 64 degrees.
