I just did a bunch of research for new wires. The most expensive I found was about 42 bucks. Not including the 60 dollar set for performance wires.

Bosch was 40 from autozone with lifetime warrenty.
Some other company for like 27. Autozone. Lifetime warrenty.

Napa had some for like 42 and that was it. Lifetime warrenty

Advanced auto had two sets. Bowden and X-act. Bowden was like 40 and the X-act were 20. Lifetime on bowden and 1 year on the x-act.

I bought the X-Act. They suck, they don't even fit the car correctly (over sized wire length). They work though and it was all I could afford at the moment.

Next time I will get the Bosch. Its from a name I know and its a lifetime warrenty. Can't beat that.

BAT (british american transfer) sell a set of wires that are nice . They are ford racing wires, but are made by accel I think. They run about 40 bucks. The best are Magnacore but they run about 80 bucks. Keep in mind that your wires should fit how you drive as well as your mods. ie $80 wires don't get you any more horsepower if you skimp elsewhere.

Took your advice and went to Napa - wow! What a heavy-duty set of wires for $43.00. OEM has plastic inserts but the new replacement issue comes with space-age rubber insulation. Looking forward to having them installed tomarrow.
