OP flexriprock New CEG\'er F Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 21 Detroit	I just had a question maybe someone could answer: my cars at this shop(still!)getting a new transmission, it's been almost a week and the guy does'nt even have the trans out of the car yet! He told me today that he has to drop the lower frame down to get the transmission out, has anyone ever heard of this before? 1998 contour se-R.I.P.(09-15-03)

That was a complete removal and replacement of the tranny and one mount. The shop may be really busy right now, but if they don't get on it soon I'd start asking a lot of questions.
