When I saw it in the hobby store, with a price tag of $305.99, I thought, ??Gee, that's neat, but I wouldn't pay $305.99 for it.?
When they dropped the price to $229.99, it was still neat, but I wouldn't pay $229.99 for it.
Then they dropped the price to $50, so the Nikko ??Sea Wolf? radio-controlled submarine came home with me.

So basically you are going to drop it in a pond and lose it. The other option would be to drop it in an aquarium. Gee that would be fun.

You've got a point there. I'm guessing he doesn't have one.

My apartment complex has a pool, where I've now spent several hours playing with this toy. You do definitely need a fair amount of room for this. A bathtub is waaaayyy too small.

Put a camera in it & just off the coast of Florida would be a cool spot for that thing. Expecially during lobster season.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I see Nikko is still using the trusy ol' Mabuchi 540. I think it produces like 22,000 rpm. Try taking it apart and buying any Trinity modified motor from your local hobby dealer. Those crank out anywhere from 32k to 55k rpm. Then you'll have something. I like the link.. "Multiple frquencies available for competative racing." Yeah it's like racing with three-toed sloths. If your into R/C cars, PM me. I've got something that is a bit bigger. Extremely cool. For Sale. Cheap!
