I realize I haven't posted in a while since I've been super busy lately with my work, but I did a 3rd brakelight conversion into my car a couple weeks ago or so, that went from the standard filament-based 3rd brakelight to LED type. I never had time to build the webpage for it until this morning, but here it is. I just figured some of you guys MAY want to see it, in case any of you may want to do it on your guys' cars? It was really easy. The biggest reason I wanted to switch to LED 3rd brakelight though, was because after I put in the LED main taillights onto my car, then that made the 3rd brakelight look 'lazy' to the eye since it would begin to illuminate a split-second later than the main brakelights would at that moment when you hit the brake pedal. It looks like it SHOULD now.
Check out the pics at:

I think it turned out very nice. The reason I used the donor LED modules that I did, was because I found a good deal on these aux modules for like 15 bucks each (which I thought was very reasonable). But anyways, I just thought I would share my how-to, let me know what ya'll think (if ya like it or whatever).

My LED taillight page is here: http://www.2seetimeout.com/LEDretrofit.htm

And the donor 3rd brakelamp came from this page:

And now a note in response to MotorCity, I just put in my deposit for the new BUMPER! Thanks for bringing that to my attention MotorCity. I had not realized that awesome Micah had RE-instated the group buy! I'm now officially in on it this time around. No new car for me.... I'm keep'in this one for a long time to come. I think I'll also do the 3 liter thing when my motor goes tits up

DAmmit Josch, your homemade stuff is so damn cool. Whenever I try to make homeade stuff it ends up either ugly, on fire, or stabbing me...

Thanks for all the compliments guys, I just have a knack for these kind of little basement hobby type things I guess? I've been too busy lately though to add any new things to the plan (except for the front bumper/side skirts to match the new rear bumper I stuck on before. Thanks to this site, I got all my components located to convert to SVT look in a pre-'98. Thanks to Lance and everyone else who writes here who contribute to this wonderful forum.
