I am in the process of rebuilding my UIM/LIM...I was reading the how-to and noticed that the "Fuel Rail to lower intake manifold seals" had "95-97 only" after them... If that because that is the part number for these model years only, or do the 98+ vehicles not have these seals?
It says in the how-to that "these are part of the problem"...again, for 95-97 or no? Thanks!

By the way, I ask because I have to drive 2.5 hours one way to get these parts...I would like to avoid that if I can. lol

Correct...no LIM seals.
All you'll have is:
LIM gasket (2 sets of the 3 holes) Maybe..new o-rings for your injectors, tho I didn't.
That's it for the LIM.
Look at the plastic doo-dads that connect the IMRC linkage..best time to replace them is now, tho mine were fine as well...

It is highly recommended that you get new gaskets.

It's mostly opinion on this one. I had my intake manifolds off at least 10 times without any leakage issues. Every 15K for cleaning and every time I decided to change injector sizes. As long as the o-rings are pliable and not broken, you can re-use them. The bolt and rubber insert assemblies that hold the upper manifold down prevent crushing the gaskets to far. The lower ones have steel inserts to keep them from being crushed. Its $25-$35 for a set that you can easily save until later.
