hey guys, this is kinda a silly question but i've never gotten a straight answer for it... first off you have a turbo'd car, a minor shot of nawssssssssss(50-75 something like that), is pretty safe in the long run... so long as your responsible about not hitting your rev limiter or spraying on too low of an rpm...

now my question is. how does the fuel management deal w/ that? the nos replaces the air (or some of it) and = a more boom power stroke. I've heard about progressive controllers? but not really sure how they work and such and purging and all that... its alwyas been deemed "RICY" if myself or my friends talk about Nawssssssssss. But if its used correctly isn't it a valuable addition?

it my eyes, you'd be better off going either engine w/ nitrous or just turbo. why?:with turbo you can get lower compression pistons=more power. with engine and nitrous you get high compression pistons/shave head=more power. it seems your turbo setup is a little "ghetto" and i don't know if adding nitrous w/o adding a lot more other things would be a good idea. i say your low PSI turbo or a 50/75 shot of nitrous are safe by themselves but mixing you have to do the proper work so things don't break. somebody else can talk about the controllers, etc. but yeah you can get full controllers that add more nitrous/fuel at your set rates.

Nitrous can have a wonderfull cooling effect on the intake charge with a turbo. If its a mild shot, you can probably run it safely but it must be dyno tuned turbo only first. I'd recommend a wet kit injected right behind the throttle body with fixed jets, probably a 25HP shot for the added benefit of cooling and a little more umph.

However, if you exceed the maximum power capabilities of the rods/pistons/crank, the engine is still going to go boom, with or without nitrous.

If you are going to do it, run mild boost and get it tuned well first. Then run your kit on top of it and do another dyno tune/check before you start spraying on the street. ON a dyno you can watch air fuel and if it starts to go lean you can cut it off. If you just thow on a pre-set kit and the air fuel is off, you are asking for big trouble.
