There was a lot of behind the scenes effort made, and people are b1tching about not having separate SVT and Contour categories?

-Allen and I mailed over 40 registration forms out.
-I personally PM'd over 40 people asking them about whether or not they had registered yet.
-Allen busted his butt with Carlisle Productions to get our own class and get extensions on the deadline to do so!
-It took us well over the deadline to get the 25 cars we needed.

People are missing the all important fact that we barely avoided getting thrown in with the Escorts and getting our own class this year.

I mean look (IIRC), 2nd and 3rd places went to non-SVTs.

Let's all just be happy that we get our own class.

One class sounds good to me. Can we ask Lance for a separate Carlisle planning forum now since Spring Zing and the National Meet get their own forums.

That sounds like a great idea, especially if we want to make it an official CEG meet like the SZ and National Meet and not just a Northeast area meet. I have to agree with Andy, it's a prime place to have a Contour meet; imagine if we could get 50 cars next year?

You never know, you could get people from all over the US coming to our little shindig!
