I totally agree with that, and this is coming from a woman. I do NOT, however, use my "power" against ppl.

I've always found Tyson to be a good time to watch.
We shouldn't hold Tyson in the same field mentally as most people, not because he is a star or an athlete, but because the guy has been smacked in the head so many times he has become borderline retarded. He obviously lacks any judgement any more, thus the biting off of people's ears, and the comments he always makes. Half the [censored] he says I'm pretty sure he was told to say, and he does it because he's to stupid to know why he shouldn't. He doesn't realise the difference between what's real and what is staged either.
I hate to say it, but sometimes I actually feel sorry for him. Even when he does something right he gets bad press for it.

You weren't there when he supposedly raped her, so you can't judge the situation. Have you ever considered that maybe he really was telling the truth and that trifling [censored] set him up? Doin time for something you didn't really do can really make you hate the person who accused you...And until you've been in a situation like this you aren't justified to comment.
My brother in law was accused of raping a girl and spent some time in jail...She later confessed in court that her mom made her press charges on him and lie about being raped because she found out they were having sex. Total [censored] ! He was fired from his job, kicked off the volunteer fire dept, kicked out of school, and there were numerious articles in the local newspaper that were written calling him guilty before the court case even started.

F*ck a b*tch. And they wonder why they are victims all the time. Acting like that with the wrong one will get their a$$es beat royally.

Do you give all convicted felons the same benifit of the doubt or just athlete celebs?
I think it may have "occured" to his defense lawyer that "that trifling [censored] set him up" but apparently 12 jurrors who heard this argument in its entirety did not buy it..Sure, OCCASIONALLY the jury convicts the wrong person but brother in law aside, its not too common. Nothing Tyson has said or done since has really suggested he is the kind of guy that would not have raped anyone.
Hey, the guy is an impressive athlete and he did his time but face it..he is a rapist (99% certainty). ANY other country (except France) he would have been executed, here he still gets to be a celeb....think about that.

Actually this is FAR from the truth. Rape convictions are VERY hard to get and rape is rarely reported. Besides the fact that there needs to be solid proof against the perp, then the victim has to be cross-examined and basically embarrassed or shamed in public. Most victims are not willing to go through that trauma on top of their own shame and misplaced guilt associated with the rape. When rape is the real situation and not the fabricated "I just want to get back at you" BS, anger is not the prevelant emotion that victims feel. Besides the fact that most police investigators will figure out quickly if the claim is a false alarm.
