Some dumb a$$ hit me in the back right. It was a hit and run and so since there's no permanent damage, I didnt do a police report, just to keep my record clean. The only problem I do have though, is that the part where the clasp goes, is on the outside, and I cant figure out how to get the bumper off so that I can reinstall it the way it should be. Can anyone help?

Not sure I understand description of problem and don't know what model and year you're driving but bumper removal is pretty simple on my '97.

Remove fasteners at wheel well covers, remove 4 nuts at rear of car and slide bumper backwards off of mounting studs. From your description I get impression the blow to bumper has knocked it back and off pass side mounting stud.

When you get bumper off you should take the oppurtunity to add sealant around air vents (known culprits for water leaks into trunk).

Thanks, I looked at it and it looks like its on there the way you described it. I just didnt have the time today to try and fix it. Last time I tried thought, it felt like it was stuck, but this time I'll give it a good yank. I'll letcha know if this fixes it.
