Why wait for the owner to ponder over twenty or thirty 'try this' answers...if you can cut to the chase asap...I think the problem is yours sir...because I have the background and experience it gets up your nose....sorry but I dispise BS from people who think they know this vehicle from a few wekend DIY outings!....From the phone calls,e mails etc and the number of people I talk through problems with on the phone I think I have a slight edge....sorry you dont like the attitude but I dont sugar coat these problems...it is was it is ..fix it and move on...

I sure hope this doesn't get to heated Terry, but your experience and background doesn't get up my nose. It's not even your harshness - I actually enjoy your sense of humour. MY PROBLEM is more along the lines of what you said about cutting to the chase. In this case you were unsuccessful at just "cutting to the chase" and may have sent a do it yourself-er on a wild goose chase.

I just want this to be a place where we can get some more of those "try this" answers and learn more from the whole process rather than just shipping the problem off for you to solve in your garage. From the sounds of it, you don't have much to learn from us so the only reason you seem to be here is to solicit for HMS. If the CEG wasn't so in love with you they'd tell you to stick it in the classifieds!

Well Terry. Maybe my comment was a little BS-maybe not. Talking someone through something like that is a great service that you are in a postition to provide. Maybe the problem is that you misrepresent your true good nature in your posts.

I am aware that you offer MTX-75 training sessions, and are very present here on the group. But other than that, the impression I get from the content of your posts is the one described in my above statements.

I'm sure my opinion of you would be different if I knew you personally, and I know you would treat some of us with more respect if you knew us personally.

same thing happenned to me. cost me $1500. the guy said it was a "broken internal shift tower".
