There has been some posts on the focaljet board of people paying over sticker to order an FSVT. Has anyone here ordered the FSVT and did you have to pay a dealer's premium? The CSVT is looking better every day!

To me, the best thing about the CSVT was the value for the money. The FSVT already doesn't really compare if you ask me. Add to that this premium and I'd hunt high and low for a used CSVT in place of the goofy looking FSVT.

I have one ordered. MSRP is as low as I could get them to go. I haven't heard much from my dealer though.

I don't suppose the dealers will be willing to lease a FSVT would they? Not that I'm interested, however... A friend is in the market for a new car, and wants to lease.

Probably because the Focus SVT is being hyped so much in the Media. In all the big magazine tests it trashes the competition in overall scores. Also keep in mind that this car is youth oriented and low priced...so there will be high demand for the limited production run.

If you ask me, a car like this should just be an option code for ANY model Focus sold, not a limited edition 2-door SVT model. Thats right, they should have an "SVT" option code for the 3,4,5 door and wagon versions smile but not call them SVTs.

BTW, I has to pay MSRP on my E1 back in June of '98. Had I been a little more patient and wise, I could have gotten it cheaper frown

For the love of all that is holy! It is not FSVT! WOuld you tell someone "I drive a Focus Special Vehicle Team?". Didn't think so! Special Vehicle Team Focus would be the correct terminology!
