Your problem sounds more like a bad fuel pump and the secondaries. When I bought my 2nd svt it choked at exactly 5k like i hit fuel cut-off at redline. I had the dealer replace it and it was better but then it was missing and i got that fixed too. But more likely its a bad fuel pump.

No I'm not gonna buy that car. What I meant about reving the engine in neutral and in a gear was that in neutral it reved up without a problem all the way to limiter but under heavy acceleration in a gear it always choked exactly @ 4K rpm's.
Plus the car is in overall bad shape. It needs some body work. Not worth buying. At least not for me. I want a good one.

Sounds exactly like my fuel pump problem... a funny thing is, my dealer had to be pushed and prodded by MY SUGGESTION that the fuel pump be replaced before they finally agreed. It's like they don't notice that the car isnt supposed to drive that way? Needless to say the car is a beast again
