Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums General Common Interests 5 year High School reunion in a month...any tips?

I just found out that my 5 year reunion is going to be on the 21st of June. It's going to be at a pretty nice restaurant, not 5 star quality but one of the nicest in the area nonetheless. Anyways, what tips do CEGers with previous reunion experience have for me? Also, what should I wear? I'm kind of debating between my nice grey suit with a blue shirt and a tie, or that outfit but losing the jacket (so I don't look too dressy).

Any advice that can help me out is appreciated!

Oh yeah, and in case anyone knows my school, it's Strong Vincent High School, class of '98 in Erie PA.

High school was a big joke to me. I don't really want to see any of those jokers again.

I'll be dead and in hell before you find me at one of those things. Maybe that is just me though.

Be yourself

go dressed as a bum and tell everybody there how much your life sucks and how lucky they are and that you lost your home and your job and are now begging on the street corners for money that way you will not get invited back and you will not have to worry about it again.

My friend went to his 10 year reunion. He said the popular kids all got fat and were still snobby, the class nerds were rich and the class slut was still a slut.

5 year reunion? i go to the local fridays in woodbridge and have a class reunion every weekend if i wanted too.

i had one a couple of years ago, it was cool, because I was looked at differently in high school, and all my [censored] is together now, so I had a good time. . .oh yeah, the hot chicks, GOT HOTTER, the ugly dorks, well, got better, and. . .the guys stayed the same. . the cool druggie people are LOSERS now, though, which I thought was funny because their derision in HS doesn't nearly outweigh their realization that even though we didn't have as much fun as them, we made something for ourselves. . .
